My wife just finished alcohol detox at an in patient and she is having bad body cramps and aches what can do to alleviate the the pain?

Alcohol Withdrawal: First these could be side effects of meds that might have been used to protect her health during detox. Second she can take tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen and three i would hope she is still in patient for the most important part of in patient treatment, the learning that comes just after detox is completed.

I'd suggest your: Wife sees a dr or go to an urgent care right away to get checked for electrolyte imbalance and muscle inflammation/destruction -rhabdomyolysis. God bless you!
