Need more info...: About the exact wording in the report, but we all have multiple bowel loops (like 30 feet worth!). Did the report say something like: "multiple prominent (or dilated) bowel loops"? If so, that is not necessarily normal. Either way, please ask your doctor for clarification, because it is impossible to be sure without the report and possibly the images.

MRI: Everyone has multiple bowel loops. On an MRI read the radiologist is making this statement to imply that the loops are not masses or something else more serious.
