I will not consent to forceps for vb under any circumstances whatsoever & would want cesarean instead.can doc force forceps even if i refuse consent?

NO should not: You need to discuss that with your doc way before u go into labor, your doc shouldn't do anything like that without your consent as if u do not want that then if u cannot push baby out then a csection would be done, and not too many people use forceps anymore at all, most obs if u need assistance will do a careful outlet vacuum which if done properly is very safe but not done if u dont want it.
