Yes: Fragrance can act as an irritant to trigger increased respiratory symptoms of asthma and allergic / nonallergic rhinitis. It can also be responsible for allergic contact dermatitis, that is a rash occurring in locations touched by the fragrance containing product. Symptoms should improve with avoidance. An allergist can help determine if fragrance is the culprit.
