ADHD: No specifi c test exists for adhd. Observations of doctors, parents, teachers, and others are key. Depression and anxiety must be ruled out. For an adhd diagnosis, the child must have six or more of eight specifi c symptoms for at least 6 months, and these must interfere with daily functions.

? were you as kid ?: The "symptoms" of ADD are vague & overlap with other issues. You do your best when you have adequate restful sleep, good nutrition, good health & a stable working environment. If you have voids in any of these you can appear ADD. A good workup by your doc including a sleep study could cover the basics. Referral to a psychologist for testing may be indicated if these are normal.There is no one test
