Are psychotropic drugs the real answer to mental illness?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: Medications are one tool to help treat mental illness, but keeping a regular schedule, having a good support network, support groups, exercise, psychotherapy, yoga, and meditation can all help various psychiatric disorders, and sometimes medication is not part of treatment of a particular person with a particular mental illness.
