Depends: If you're an adult and this is new acne, you need a check for hormonal problems such a cushing's. I trust you're not taking anabolic steroids, knowingly or not. If you're a female, it's likely there's a hormonal problem that your physician can address. If you're a young man, don't ask why. Just get treated. It's effecive and cheap -- your doctor can help.
