They are accurate: I am not sure what your nurse is referring to. Modern pregnancy tests are very reliable.

More accurate if +: A positive pregnancy test is almost always accurate that you are pregnant. A negative test doesn't rule out pregnancy since it can be affected by how much fluids you have been drinking.
