Try missing: One dose. How does it feel. If you replaced one dose with Ibuprofen and tylenol, (acetaminophen) what happens? What about two doses? Note, dependence is not addiction.

Complex : This is a complex issue because you may be taking pain killers every day for 2 months for pain or you may be taking it for pleasure. Think of addiction less like a physical dependence and more like a psycho-social-spiritual need that pursues satiation from a drug or behavior that never quite soothes you (even though it feels like it does in the immediate short term). There's a lot to this subject.
