No matter: There are several reasons to take Femara (letrozole) but it should not matter when you take the medication regarding the benefits of its use. It can cause symptoms with dizziness and some people choose to take it before bedtime. You should discuss your other medications with your provider, specifically if you are on thyroid or cholesterol meds, in order to determine interactions and the best time to take it.

Either: Femara may be taken at any time of day as it will not impact the way the medication works; just take it at the same time each day. If you are on other meds that should not be taken with it, space them out by the appropriate time. Some people do report insomnia as a side effect of Femara, so if you experience this, you may want to take the medication in the morning.
