Yes: If you are not having side effects from accutane, your boyfriend won't either. Side effects can be mild but irritating (dry eye, dry nose), signifcant but easy to manage (low blood counts) or pretty serious (anaphylaxis, heart disease). Fortunately that is pretty rare as long as you take the medication as prescribed and not more often.
