A member asked:

Can there be merit to accupuncture or hypnosis to aid memory retention and recall?

Acupuncture can help to balance the individual which in turn can improve cognitive clarity. Improved focus may assist with laying down memory or retrieval of memory. However, that does not mean that it would help with memory retrieval for specific events or that it would cure a disease process like dementia.
