Possible: If you only went on the betablocker to treat cardiac effects of thyrotoxicity, then you may be able to go off it. If you need a beta blocker for underlying arrhythmias or hypertension, then you will likely need to continue it. Ask your doctor.

Yes : You'll be able to stop beta blockers once you are euthyroid again, at the discretion of your doctor. More importantly, sounds like you'll benefit from professional therapeutic counseling.
