Exciting work: You'll have to finish medical school and a residency, but you will enjoy it immensely if you love helping patients, doctors, nurses and family to have a great experience when patients go to the hospital. Volunteering in a hospital is a great way to meet a hospitalist. Get'em jaguar! you can do it!

Sure!: A Hospitalist is a hospital based physician usually with a training background in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. A fellowship is not required. After medical school I trained in internal medicine then stayed on at my hospital as an inpatient physician. Work involves caring for patients only in the hospital setting (primary and consults). Additionally I teach and do administrative work.
