Probably not: Vaginal discharge can change over time for women during their life. So probably not a problem. But, it might be wise to have a pelvic exam to ensure that you dont have a vaginal infection of some kind. It shouldnt be related to the iud however.

Vag discharge: I doubt it's paraguard causing it especially if you've had it for a year and initially didn't experience it. If no other problem found (such as infection), you may need to consider getting it out but not until everything else has been ruled out.
