A member asked:

A person not finding help locally from doctors probably needs to seek help nationally?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not yet: A person can usually find help in the nearest major medical center or university medical center in the state in which she lives. If needed, she can go out of state. If there is one medical center in the country that specializes in her specific disorder, she can travel there for an evaluation too.
