See below: These are usually burns that are due to alkali materials and can be 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree. Treat these like any other burn by extensive cleansing with water or saline and then if the burn is bad, silvadene (silver sulfadiazine) cream can help with pain and infection. See you doc first.
