Abnormal heart beat: Your heart is essentially an electrical pump. The rhythm is determined by the electrical impulse that travels thru it and is called the rhythm. This is demonstrated on an ECG. The normal heart rate is between 60-100 per minute but can change depending on the circumstance. There are "cures" which include physical actions, medications, and surgery but really depend on the cause and actual rhythm.
