Possibilities...: You may have bronchitis as a complication of your recent cold. Acute bronchitis is an infection of the airways and, if there is no significant fever, it is likely of viral origin so antibiotics will be ineffective. Another possibility is you may have developed bronchospasm from inflammation in the airways caused by coughing. See your doctor so the correct diagnosis can be made and treatment given.
