Coughing non stop: Non stop coughing may due to allergy, bronchial asthma, bronchitis and pnumonia. If over the counter cough medicines have been tried the you should consult your doctor, who will examine you oand if needed order some tests like pulmonary function test, blood test and xray chest.Based on the finding you may need appropriate treatment depending on the cause, if you smoke you should refrain from smoking.

Possibilities...: Possibilities include bronchospasm due to any cause including seasonal allergies, common this time of year. Other possibilities include gerd, post-nasal drip or a combination of factors. See your doctor for diagnosis as all of these have different treatments. If you smoke, you need to quit to decrease airway inflammation.
