OTC pain meds: First, what are you using the otc pain meds long term for. Secondly, long term use of any meds is not without potential side effects. Pain meds are depending on the type have adverse effects on the body. Nsaids can cause increase in stomach acid, acetominophen has adverse liver reactions.... You should consult with your dr about pain management.
