Blood in the urine: Blood in the urine is an abnormal condition that should be evaluated by a urologist. Depending on your age, smoking status, and other health factors blood in the urine can be due to several conditions, some very significant like bladder or kidney cancer.

Painless hematuria: If you have painless hematuria (h), rbc's in your urine. See a urologist to rule out a UTI at first. If there is no uti, you need urological studies such as a renal ultrasound, ivp and possible a cystoscopy to visualize your bladder. If there are no problems, you need to be evaluated by a nephrologist to make sure there is no glomerular disease of your kidneys causing you to have h. Good luck.
