Odorous feet: Foot odor can be caused from hyperhidrosis overly sweaty feet. Have him get a blood test done to check his thyroid level. Get him foot powder spray such as tinactin (tolnaftate) and spray onto feet every morning before he puts on his socks and shoes. Wear cotton not wool or nylon socks. Wear leather sandals instead of shoes whenever he gets the chance. Fungus or bacteria can also cause odor. Try Lamisil cream.

Usually Bacteria: Or fungus.....Excessive sweating, can increase growth of either.....Make sure he washes feet and then try antiperspirant spray on feet.

Smelly feet: As the other answers state well , there are lots of things to do for this . See your podiatrist for something tailored to your needs , but starting with hygiene ,antibacterial soap , changing socks, drying shoes , shoe sprays ( let them sit at least 2 days ) , etc all do help
