Eye drops in ears: Because eye drops are formulated to be quite gentle, they often can be used in the ears and are well tolerated by most patients, but they could still sting or burn a little. Ideally, the kind of drops that we use to treat swimmer's ear include antibiotics and steroids as well as a drying agent. None of the drops you have provide a drying agent, so see your pediatrician/ent doc for best results.
