brown discharge a day after period?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Edwin Anselmi
Specializes in Family Medicine
Probably normal: One day of brown spotting after a period is normal. It should not be black discharge and should not be heavy. Multiple days of tail end brown bleeding is not normal but may still be difficult to diagnose and treat.
