A member asked:

Hi, my sneeze gets stuck near my chest and stops.. i was treated for pnemonia recently and dr advised me to do breathng exercise.. is this common?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not clear: Does it stop with pain? If you had pneumonia and coughing, the coughing could have pulled chest wall muscles, injured ribs or cartilage and this may be the result that stops the sneeze. These usually heals with time.
