A member asked:

Can there be an abnormality that makes a person unable to feel love?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I know several: Nobody knows exactly what autism or or what the inner world is like, but these people tend not to be responsive to others and this is perhaps the toughest thing for a parent. In depression, the inability to feel the normal good emotions frustrates both patient and those who care. Sociopaths report being unable to conceive of love apart from sexuality or personal gain. There may be others.
