A member asked:

What's the difference between mesenteric adentitis or appendicitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two different things: Mesenteric adenitis is inflammation of lymph nodes of the mesentery of the intestine. Could be viral or bacterial in origin & resolves on its own. Appendicitis is an infection of the appendix that gets worse unless medically treated with antibiotics & usually surgery to remove the appendix.
