What to do if i have a weak knee, should i consider crutches?

Why is it weak?: The reason and severity of the weakness is a different in general use crutches to completely unload the knee for a severe injuryor for minimal weight bearing during recovery. For minor uncomplicated weakness i would use a cane in the opposite hand.
