Jock itch: Could be a fungal infection (tinea cruris or "jock itch"). Most often occurs from excess moisture in a poorly aerated skin area (skin touching skin). Usually can use over the counter antifungal cream in the area for 2 weeks. If the itching or rash worsens or rash does not improve, you need to see a doctor for further evaluation.
