It can screw you up: Pretty bad. Cocaine prevents Dopamine in the brain from being recycled. So Dopamine builds up at the synapse (between two neurons). This can cause a person to feel “high”. Cocaine can ^ heart rate, ^ blood pressure, ^ temperature, v appetite, cause nausea, abdominal pain, nausea & constriction of blood vessels. It can also lead to heart attacks or strokes.
