Yes: Sometimes the asymmetry can be corrected in part or completely with dental rehabilitation. It is also possible to have asymmetry of the face create an imbalanb in the smile. This also can be corrected by dental rehab. When the smile is in harmony with the face even when there is asymmetry the effect can be very pleasing.

Yes: Decayed teeth, abscessed teeth with facial swelling, teeth with significant periodontal problems and mobility, and crooked teeth (malocclusion) can definitely cause a facial asymmetry. A thorough clinical evaluation with the appropriate x-rays and diagnostic studies by your dentist can help determine if your teeth are contributing to any facial asymmetry.

Facial asymmetry: First, be aware that no one's face is perfectly asymmetric. There are lots of reasons for facial asymmetry and dental problems are only one possibility. I'm not sure if you see something of sudden onset or just noticed something that you have had from years. Dental problems should be treated even with a perfectly symmetrical face. Start by seeing your dentist for an exam and consult.
