A member asked:

For what reasons might weight fluctuate so much during puberty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Puberty: Is a time of great change, in size, activity, hormones, temperment, activity, food intake, behavior, etc. A change in any of these can cause fluctuation of weight, but it generally levels out, and puberty is rarely fatal; most of up live through it.
