Usually surgery: Most full-thickness rotator cuff tears require a surgical repair to heal. There are factors, such as range of motion, strength, and other medical problems which can affect healing.

It depends: On how it is injured. Fixing can be done with injection, therapy or ultimately surgery. In surgery we repair the tendon by sewing it with stitches that are anchored into the bone. Thanks.
