See ophthalmologist: The best way to be sure is to be seen by an ophthalmologist asap and get a dilated examination of the retina. Common symptoms of retinal detachment are flashing lights and floaters, a dark curtain, and vision loss. Rd is a potentially blinding condition, so you should be seen right away.
