Quietly: Lice are an only human paracite that takes only 10 days to go from hachling to maturity. They are tiny, often found in headgear, hoodies or scarfs & love to be shared (like headgear). Kids is close contact settings, with layers of clothing often pass the living lice. They gravitate to the scalp as a quiet place to feed.After a time whit egg casings appear tightly attached to hair.

Contagion from one: The head lice spread from person to person contact. Occurring more in early childhood because of laxity in personal hygiene in this age group. In this age it does not equate to poverty or poor parenting.
