when i stand up my vision goes black-ish and i feel dizzy. any ideas?

Blood pressure: When you stand up your blood pressure has to elevate to supply the brain and the eyes effectively. Sometimes this does not work so well and this is called postural hypotension. It can be benign but also a clue to low blood pressure or anemia. Have your family doctor check this out if it persists.
