Probably: Ecg monitors provide information as to rate, rhythm and pattern of our heart. When a person is having an acute "heart attack" , usually the pattern of the normal heart changes. The pattern may show elevations in areas that are not there in normal or non-ischemic hearts or irregular heart beats. If you think you are having a heart attack, immediately seek out medical attention or call 911.
