There can be a : Number of possible causes. If this is the first time you have been sexually active, bleeding is not uncommon. If it continues to occur after first episode of vaginal intercourse - please see your gynecologist. By the way, 16 is rather young to be having sexual intercourse. You wrote down "don't know" under pregnancy category. Are you using protection? 16 is too young to have a child.

Depends: Could be from various areas uterus, cervix vagina(such as tear) if it recurrs get checked.
