Please discuss with: Your doc and tell your doc not to press so hard, in my opinion and i deliver babies no reason to press hard.

Doubtful: Baby is floating around in a water bed with a buffer of fluid surrounding all structures. The exam you describe allows the doc to see if your pattern of progress is in line with your dates. It is pretty standard and most of us went thru the same kind of exam when we were in the womb.
