Herpes: I am unsure, but will assume that you mean during your menstrual cycles. Correct? Regardless no. Most people with herpes do not have outbreaks. I see that you are on valacyclovir. This medication if used properly should help prevent with any flare ups. If you are getting flareups despite this medication your doctor should know in case they want to change the treatment plan.

Not unusual.: Menstruation is a common trigger of herpes outbreaks. The fact that *every* menstrual cycle triggers an outbreak in your case is unusual, but by no means unheard of.
