I have a recurring skin irritation on my forehead (no pus). i have tried benzoyl peroxide, hydrocortisone. nver goes away just appears less inflamed.

There are many causes, but the most common is seborrhea (or seborrheic dermatitis), especially if your scalp is also dry and/or itchy. A good anti-seborrheic shampoo like selsun blue, plus otc Hydrocortisone cream, should control it. If not, something else is going on and you should see a dermatologist for an in-person exam.
