Metformin problem: Janumet is a combination of januvia (sitagliptin) and metformin. The metformin can cause stomach side effects, usually diarrhea, but also nausea, abd pain. It sounds like you need to switch to other medication to control your sugar. There are many other possible meds, your doctor needs to decide what is best for you.
