Ankle Pain: Try resting it (for 1-2 weeks), icing, compressing wraps or bracing, and elevating your ankle. Take otc antiinflammatory drugs like advil (ibuprofen) or Motrin as directed by the manufacturer to help. If you still feel pain, get it checked out by a doctor for possible xrays and evaluation. Start : By seeing a specialist of foot and ankle to determine the cause. Once that is done then treatment plan will be given. It could be many different things so get it checked.
