Depends on variables: If you completed the vaccine series before any sexual activity you would be well protected against the strains in the vaccine you received. If you were exposed before the vaccine, you could have hpv and never know it. There are also other hpv strains not in the vaccines but these are less common and seldom cause significant illness. Condoms do not provide perfect protection against hpv.
