Time to change: It may be time to change to a different pill. Nausea is a common side-effect but usually stops with 3-4 packs. If not, a pill with less estrogen or one that starts with less estrogen and builds up over the pack may work better for you. Some gyn's may suggest using dramamine (dimenhydrinate) or bonine before taking the pill each night to decrease nausea.
