Specializes in Podiatry

Neurologist: Generally, he'd have to see his primary first to be referred to a specialist. The specialist is usually a neurologist. Hope that helps.

Yes: Leopard, parkinson's disease can be difficult to treat effectively. I would look around ar to find a neurologist with training in "movement disorders." such doctors have extensive training in pd and treatment. One other note, see your primary doctor in the interim to make certain it is not something else such as a urinary tract infection.

Parkinson's : Yes there is. A neurologist is the kind of physician who works with parkinson's disease. There are some neurologist who have special interest or additional training in movement disorders. Most of them practice in large academic centers, university hospitals or large cities. This special interest makes a difference as the condition becomes more complex and hard to manage with further progression.
