The Three S's: I am not sure what or why your doctor said what he said, but here is what i was taught in medical school: the three s's: 1. Soak (waok in warm water or at least use wet wipes to keep the area clean and soft. 2. Soften your stool so that no further tearing will happen while you are healing. And, three: if this is not resolving easily then steroid cream or suppositories are added to the treatment.

Clean and dry: You have an anal tear and have been doing site bath with improvement. The advantage of soaking the bottom in warm water is to get clean and dry. It is difficult to keep the are clean when you have a tear or prolapsing hemorrhoid. Keep up the good work and the healing will occur.
