Valium & pregnancy: If this woman has actually taken 30 valium 10mg tablets, she has overdosed and needs to go to an er for medical attention now. She and her baby could be in danger. Longer term, risk of fetal exposure to benzodiazepines (the group of medicines valium belongs to) is relatively low but present. These are in the range of .7% for cleft lip or palate, compared to the general population.
