A member asked:

Why am i having huge blood clots on my every period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Iron & gynecologist: Please take oral iron and multivitamins to prevent anemia. It would be prudent to see your gynecologist for an evaluation. If you do not wish to be pregnant, your gyno can prescribe birth control that can reduce the frequency of periods to 3-4 times a year. For good health -Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
